As a HR Officer you will provide professional advice and support to all levels of Managers and employees on a full range of HR issues, ensuring compliance with policies, terms and conditions of service and legal requirements. You will assist the Policy and Equality Section in the review, development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, undertake research and analysis of relevant HR information and be responsible for recruitment of new staff. You will also assist in the transfer of staff by TUPE and facilitate training opportunities. This is a 12 month contract. The successful applicant will be CIPD qualified and will be developed in all the above areas and be able to demonstrate their knowledge of current human resource issues and legislation in relation to general employment matters. They will have experience of working within a unionised environment, of working on change initiatives. TUPE experience is desirable. The employer is a public sector organisation who are looking to bring someone in on a project basis. They have a stable Human Resources Team and will offer good support and guidance as well as a really good opportunity for someone to manage this role for an initial 12 month period.Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based HR experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
