A leading Professional Services organisation is looking to add a HR Advisor to their team. They have a very large HR team which works very closely with the business on a day to day basis, sharing a commitment to providing a value added service to the Firm. You will ideally be at HR Advisor / officer level currently and have previous experience of working in a professional services environment. You may be looking to move into a more people focused environment or looking for a company where HR and the business work closely together. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Recruitment and selection Support HRM with recruitment of staff at all levels utilising the most cost efficient and effective methods; Interview or assess candidates as necessary and ensure process is in line with best practice Provide advice and guidance to partners throughout the process Work with operations team to deliver accurate recruitment reports for partners Employee relations Provide expert guidance and support to partners and group managers to ensure all employee issues are resolved, with the emphasis on building excellent relationships and instilling trust; Proactively ensuring that new policies are effectively communicated and implemented in each group ; Co-ordinating the delivery of performance management, appraisal and salary review processes for each practice area; Support partners and group managers with the management of poor performance Proactively identify changes and improvements to employment policy and practices; Joiners & leavers Reviewing, co-ordinating and implementing the induction process for new joiners; Conduct new joiner chats, collate feedback and communicate to the appropriate people as necessary; Ensure departmental induction processes are in place and review with the business as necessary; Conduct exit interviews and communicate feedback to the appropriate people as necessary; Work with International centre of expertise to support secondees in and out of the group Learning and Development In consultation with line managers, reviewing appraisals to ensure identified development needs are met. Co-ordinate secretarial promotions Candidate Profile A well organised, commercial and intelligent HR generalist currently at HR Advisor or Officer level with a track record of building strong relationships with internal clients built upon sound technical knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills. Professionally confident and possess the skills to influence, persuade and negotiate with a wide variety of individuals; able to articulate HR issues, and convey advice with clarity and accuracy; motivated to undertake high quality work and manage key projects in addition to their basic role; able to appropriately involve and motivate a shared administration team;
