Resourcing Executive

This is a role that will give you the opportunity to develop your current resourcing experience within a professional services firm. TNS provide market insight consultancy to many world leading brands on a national and global basis, employing market research professionals from entry to senior levels. Within the Head Office of our UK business we have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional Resourcing Executive who is inspired by the chance to join us at a time when we are evolving our resourcing service into a centre of excellence.

Reporting to our Resourcing Manager you will work closely with other resourcing colleagues and a team of HR professionals in an HR department of 25 at our Head Office. A highly visible role, this will suit an individual who relishes partnering with their client base to effectively manage a portfolio of vacancies and deliver the resourcing strategy.

THE ROLE:

Operational Recruitment

Builds effective partnerships with the hiring managers and relevant HR Executive to identify immediate and longer term resourcing needs. The Resourcing Executive provides valuable advice and coaching on best practice and works in a consultative style with their internal clients to develop and then deliver candidate winning and robust recruitment and selection.

Delivery of Strategy

As well as working with the Resourcing Manager to deliver strategic projects, the Resourcing Executive will identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement subsequent plans with line managers. With visibility of the recruitment spend across the vacancy portfolio a key performance area will be to work with the Resourcing Manager to identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction. Through the delivery of HR training sessions such as the Recruitment & Selection workshops and Corporate Induction, the Resourcing Executive will ensure best practice and improvement initiatives are successful.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Excellent consultation and communication skills.
• The ability to adapt quickly, establish credibility and maintain strong working relationships in a pro-active manner.
• Passionate about building expertise within resourcing.
• Experience of coordinating or managing a portfolio of vacancies within either an in house or professional consultancy environment, perhaps as a recruitment assistant or advisor.
• Experience of liaising directly with line managers – either within an in-house role or within a strong consultative role.
• Experienced in delivering interviews with the ability to develop Competency Based interviewing skills.
• Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a demanding workload.
• Graduate calibre.
