Job Description
As the Human Resources Advisor in Blackburn you will be the first point of contact for employee relations queries, establishing the nature of the enquiry and dispensing advice based on current policies.
You will also facilitate the recruitment and selection for the hotels and head office from coordinating job specifications, placing adverts, arranging interviews to keeping people informed of their application status.
You will be responsible for the administration of the corporate training plan, ensuing accurate record keeping, booking venues and producing training aids and course delivery literature. You'll also be responsible for the delivery of the company administration system with a wide remit from coordinating the pre-employment screening for senior management, to producing turnover reports, to monitoring departmental expenditure and auditing the HR systems within the hotels.
The provision of support to the company Training and People Development Manager is a key aspect of the role, helping out with some administrative tasks and assisting with the graduate recruitment assessment days.

The ideal candidate for the Human Resources Advisor role would be knowledgeable, personable and diplomatic as they will be providing a pivotal role between the individual hotels and central human resources support. You must posses excellent organisational and concise oral and written communication skills.
As there may be times you are working independently, you must be self motivated enough to make decisions although capable of working under direction in a wider team environment.
Basic HR advisory and administration experience within a similar sized organisation is essential. Whilst candidates will be considered from all disciplines a prior knowledge of the hospitality industry would be beneficial.
