Human Resources Assistant / HR Administrator

North West London

Our client is the UK's largest charity for people affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS). They are committed to bringing high standards of quality, health and social care within reach of everyone affected by MS and to campaign for the rights of people with disabilities and their families. Our client's paid workforce together with its thousands of volunteers is the primary means of delivering its diverse programme of services and support; and promoting the interests of those affected by MS.

The company are looking for someone who is highly organised and interested in pursuing a career in HR to join their busy team as a Human Resources Assistant. You will provide a full range of administrative support services to the Head of HR (including diary management, correspondence and travel arrangement) and the HR team ensuring that the department runs smoothly. Providing support with recruitment and selection, you will compile and despatch application recruitment packs, arrange interviews and maintain a database to monitor vacancies. Assisting with pay and benefits administration, you will process HR invoices and maintain the recruitment and training budget spreadsheets.

 

They are looking for a customer-focussed individual with a good understanding of HR and the recruitment process and with relevant experience of providing administrative support in an HR environment. Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have experience of managing diaries. An excellent telephone manner and the ability to touch type at a minimum of 40 wpm are essential. Self motivated with excellent communication and organization skills.  Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages; you will need to work quickly and accurately in a deadline driven environment and be able to work on your own as well as part of a team.
