Job Description

HR Advisor (Administration & Processes) – Oxford - up to £24,000 plus benefits – Ref 5733

We have now registered a position for an HR Advisor where the focus is on Administration and Processes, working for a large Oxfordshire employer.

The purpose of the role is to provide an HR advisory and support service to the Business Partners, Managers and staff and maintain administration processes, practices and systems. This will include the following duties:

•Provide an HR help line service to all staff
•Support to the HR Business Partners/Head of HR
•Providing first line policy advice to line managers
•First line resolution for “simple” employee relations issues
•Co-ordination of performance management issues including poor performance, disciplinary and grievance
•Issue and supervision of all contractual letters as per policies and procedures
•Support HR team projects such as mobilisations, resizing projects, recruitment drives
•HR Systems; act as key HR contact in respect to HR systems and reports
•Have specific specialism in HR Admin to take account of continuous improvement and best practice – e.g. Work Permits.

To be successful you will ideally have a good generalist HR background, be computer literate and have general systems knowledge. It would also be desirable for candidates to be working towards their CIPD qualification.
