Excellent opportunity to work for a dynamic organisation based near Guildford. The purpose of the HR Assistant role is to assist the HR Manager in the operational side of the HR function supporting all employees through to Director level. Successful candidates must be confident in their approach to HR and be able to deal comfortably with senior level members of staff. Responsibilities will include: Giving advice and guidance to employees on ER issues Assisting where appropriate on HR meetings; including redundancy, disciplinary & grievance Taking and typing up minutes at relevant HR related meetings Assisting with the communication of changes to policy and procedure Assisting with the whole recruitment process; including completion of job specifications, advertising, collating CVs, interview and selection and administering all pre-employment checks Assisting with the staff induction process Assisting with collation of payroll Holiday and sickness management HR project work Other responsibilities as requested by your line manager This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who have had some good generalist exposure in HR and are looking to develop their skill set as well as happy to take on administrative responsibility.
