We are currently recruiting for an experienced Global Mobility Manager to join an ever changing organisation.
To provide day to day professional and specialist advice and support to management teams relating to all ex-pat assignment matters for those on assignment into and out of the EMEA region
International Assignments
§Participate in EMEA Customer Delivery Management team to ensure HR input into assignment planning and other Delivery team issues
§Monitor the travel and overseas working of all assignees within EMEA
§Input of HR matters into assignment handbooks
§Preparation of assignment letters and track extensions
§Coordinate Per Diem rates for EMEA assignees, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies
§Apply for Per Diem dispensations for UK employees and in bound UK assignees
Immigration
§Review immigration considerations for new assignments (employees and contractors)
§Coordinate immigration submissions (Work permits, visas, residence permits etc) for projects, tracking expiry dates and arranging extensions as required
§Engage with external advisors to prepare immigration applications – negotiate fees as appropriate
§Sponsor for UK Points based scheme, representing and responsible for FISL for UK immigration compliance
International Tax Issues
§Review tax and social security issues for employee assignments and advise management
§Track overseas work days and coordinate with Finance if tax equalisation will be required
§Coordinate payment of overseas taxes including establishment and monthly approval of shadow payrolls as required
§Liaise with external advisors to obtain tax calculations including updates following changes in assignment or personal circumstance or tax legislation
§Review social security requirements and coordinate applications for exemption certificates (E101s etc), tracking expiry dates and initiating extensions as required
UK taxes
§Primary contact to Revenue & Customs on income tax issues for FISL
§Authorise and submit company income tax returns (P35, P11Ds, PSA, Form 42, Termination Report etc)
§Respond to Revenue queries and audits
§Maintain tax dispensations for UK employees and seek further dispensations as required
International HR
§Provide HR advice on employment issues for employees based in Denmark, Netherlands, Poland, and Slovenia (and any other acquired International location).
§Liaise with local HR representatives and/or office management on HR issues
§Dealing with disciplinary matters
§Reorganisations and changes to terms and conditions of employment
§Terminations and exit interviews
Payroll
§Monthly approval of payrolls for Denmark, Netherlands x3, and Poland
§Manage UK Modified PAYE payroll including calculation of interim tax adjustments
§Back up approval for UK Banking payroll
Miscellaneous
§Playing active role within the EMEA HR team
§Overseeing HR databases and reports to ensure these are accurate for EMEA employees. Providing ad hoc reports in response to information requests
§Supporting general HR activities particularly in respect of International HR matters, visa/immigration queries, issues following mergers or acquisitions
