The Role
Specific activities include:
•Managing European annual salary review and bonus process and nominated country benefits programmes.
•Coordinating European job evaluation process.
•Providing compensation expertise on a range of European projects
•Reviewing and making recommendations for remuneration packages for all new employees, promotions and salary adjustments, maintaining internal consistency and external competitiveness.
•Compiling, submitting and analysing external survey data, in order to build competitive salary and benefit structures.
•Develop external compensation network to leverage expertise and benchmark
•Providing pensions expertise to the business as required
The Person
Graduate calibre and ideally a member of the CIPD, you will have a good general knowledge of HR issues and a firm grasp on current compensation and benefit matters.
An experienced Reward specialist, perhaps with a generalist Human Resources track record, it is important you are a self-starter with the ability to work independently, however with the flexibility to work within a European benefits team.
A demonstrable track record of delivering projects and assignments, analysing complex data and assessing the subsequent implications in order to develop business solutions and options is essential. In particular, a good understanding of UK pensions is required.
You'll need strong communication skills and the ability to influence people at all levels. If you have a strong sense of commitment, teamwork and a real enjoyment in achieving customer satisfaction, this is the ideal role for you. European Reward experience would be an advantage.
