Job Description
Role Summary:
To develop, implement and administer the rewards and benefits strategy and policies for the company ensuring compliance with current legislation and competitive benchmarking within the industry.
Role Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the organisation's salary structure and benefits provision to ensure a balance between control of costs and attracting and retaining staff
- Researching and analysing salary rates and benefits offered by other employers in the same sector to ensure competitive placement in the industry
- Advising the HR team and managers on potential breaches of employment legislation relating to equal pay issues
- Working with the HR team, identify and implement benefits to increase the quality of life for employees as part of a wider Work/Life Balance strategy, by working with brokers and researching benefits issues
- Researching, developing and implementing new benefit packages, ensuring that these are current and competitive and in line with legal requirements
- Have responsibility as Superuser' for all appropriate HR Information Systems, including HRMS, ADP and Staffcare. This includes leading on developing current systems, the implementation of new systems as required, ongoing data integrity, and training of other users
- Responsible for Corporate reporting, including Headcount
- Responsible for monthly and ongoing payroll instructions to Finance
- Project manage the Best Companies Entry and any other award schemes as appropriate
- Leading on employee recognition policy including employee of the quarter/year and the annual Christmas event
- Manage the administrative procedures for Annual Salary Reviews and Q12, partnering with the business as required
- Overall supervisory responsibility for new starters process, assignment Changes and leavers ; ensuring strict compliance with employment law and Sarbannes-Oxley requirements
Individual Requirements:
- CPP or CIPD qualified ideally
- Experience in compensation/benefits/employee reward
- A busy office environment, candidates must have superior communication skills and high-energy.
- Strong business and analytical ability with a proven ability to build strong relationships and influence different groups.
- Results oriented with strong training and facilitation skills.
