My client is a world class leader in its field and is regarded as one of the world's largest and most comprehensive drug development services companies operating globally with more than 8,000 employees. They are currently recruiting an accomplished HR Professional, focussing on reward to join the International Reward team.
You will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of reward programs across a defined region and business unit. Additionally, you will be responsible for the management of 2 Reward Analysts and the Reward Administrator, overseeing functional operation and delivery.
Key Accountabilities include:
• lead project work relating to new reward initiatives and manage the implementation processes in partnership with HR & local country management
• coach and advise HR & business managers on rewards policy and programs
• analyse & develop reward frameworks when moving into new countries
• support the business unit with cyclical events such as salary & bonus planning, equity
• development of external and internal market data reports to support the company's hiring strategies
• manage specific benefit plans and associated provider relationships and oversee the annual benefit renewal cycle for the specified region
• support the business with promotion & market adjustment cycles through the provision of ad hoc market data analysis
• manage the global assignment & relocation work for the region
• ad hoc projects as required to support the company's growth plans or other strategic initiatives
• supervise, guide and oversee day-to-day functional work by International Rewards Analysts and International Rewards Administrator
• in collaboration with Associate Director, International Rewards to develop annual functional work plans and plan for functional excellence initiatives and partner in the strategic planning and development of Long Term Incentives across the International region – working closely with the Global Rewards team on any initiatives
• lead the development of HR technology within the International Region – be the point person on all key projects and work with the Associate Director to plan and project functional improvement programs
• coach and develop understanding of the rest of the International Rewards team around HR technology projects
Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications
• Proven experience in HR with extensive experience in compensation and benefits, preferably within a complex commercial organization
• Highly numerate with the ability to analyse data, draw conclusions, recognise implications and generate solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft preferred
• Supervisory experience
