Overview:
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced, Payroll/Reward individual who has a strong understanding of Human Capital Information to work for one of the leading financial services companies. The role ideally will be based in the Channel Islands but London based will also be considered.
The HR function is based across three regions: Guernsey, Jersey and London. This role is a member of the Rewards & Recognitions team, which is a specialist function within the HR team. This role will report to the Head of Reward and Recognitions.
The Role:
The role on offer incorporates three main areas of knowledge:-
Reward:
To take responsibility for the Channel Island benefits including the CI pensions. To assist in the management of Company wide benefit provision
To ensure that job matching and benchmarking is regularly undertaken and data is provided to our market survey providers, that this data is accurate, analysed and reported to ensure our competitive position.
To support a superior, timely and well managed salary and bonus review demonstrating a clear understanding of the process and underlying philosophy
Payroll:
To manage outsourced payroll administration across London and the Channel Islands, ensuring that appropriate procedural records and files are kept and procedures are effective.
HRCI:
To provide (via SAP) relevant management with monthly and quarterly reports as requested to include headcount (FTEs, Temps & Contractors) salaries, wage drift, turnover and other relevant information as required.
Essential Requirements:
SAP knowledge or other mainstream HR Systems
Knowledge of Payroll and Payroll processes
Modelling/Analytical skills – report presentation
Advanced Excel Skills
Desirable Requirements:
Benefits Knowledge. ( This is a large part of the role but the Head of Rewards is prepared to train individuals provided that they have experience of both Payroll and HCI).
Location:
Ideally this role will be located in either Guernsey of Jersey. However if necessary it can be London based, with regular travel to the Channel Islands.
