To support the Compensation and Organisation Design Director and Group Compensation and Benefits Manager in various aspects of remuneration design and implementation. This is an important role within the Group Human Resources structure, requiring tenacity, attention to detail and a tolerance of ambiguity. Above all, to be successful in this role, the job holder must have a strong desire to get things done.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To assist the Group C&B team with the implementation of policy and ongoing administration of initiatives. Involvement in analysis, communications and administration as required.
Remuneration Management:
Manage the Executive Remuneration Database
Cost and scenario modelling for annual bonus, share awards and ad-hoc projects
Data submission into Executive Remuneration surveys
Reward Communication:
Draft participant documentation for bonus and other schemes, e.g. letters, explanatory notes, worked examples
Produce relevant documentation at key points in the year
Support Group Functions:
Provide remuneration consultancy support as required to Group functions, particularly with respect to bonus design and management
Works to ensure that key events run smoothly in these areas, e.g. one-over-one approvals for salary and bonus reviews
Remuneration Support:
Help to draft papers for presentation at the Remuneration Committee meetings
Prepare bonus and other modelling for discussion at the meeting
Collation and analysis of competitive benchmark data as part of overall remuneration review
Assist in physical production of the papers and other documentation
Relationship with other parts of HR:
Act as a regular point of contact to respond to Compensation and Benefits questions
Group HR Projects
Participation in Group HR projects
Role to be agreed for each new project
Budgets:
Tracking of the Group Compensation and Benefits budget, including processing of invoices, highlighting significant variances from budget in a timely manner
