Job Description

This well known public body is looking for an experienced Head of Pay & Reward to manage a small team to ensure all business as usual activities, processes and procedures are in place, up to date and properly documented  and to manage day to day reward activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking ownership for the delivery of key elements of the current reward activities. Key areas of responsibility may include: Pensions; Job Evaluation; Salary Surveys; Incentives; management of 3^rd party suppliers
• § Collaborating with Shared services and systems to ensure policies and processes can be properly implemented;
• § Provide advice to the HR team in relation to the current reward programmes;
• § Providing support and advice to HR business Partners in relation to reward issues;
• § Carrying out benchmarking exercises both internally and externally

The successful candidate will be:

• § Educated to graduate level with considerable experience working in a HR role, with a clearly demonstrated specialism in the area of Reward. Pensions knowledge and expertise is preferable together with good knowledge of HR systems and MS Office and advanced level Excel.
