Our client, a fast paced dynamic professional services organisation, based in the heart of the city are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide generalist HR support across the business working in a team of 5.
The successful candidate will have the knowledge and ability to deal with all levels of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, discipline and grievance, as well as the application of HR Policy and specific HR projects.
Working with the Human Resources Manager in implementing and coordinating HR policies and programs to support corporate strategy. The business has employees in the UK, France, Germany and Spain.
The main duties and responsibilities will include:
•Providing advice to managers and employees on matters relating to human resources policies and procedures.
•Ensuring that policies and the employee handbook are kept current and up to date. Providing input into the drafting of documents and new policies.
•Preparing and ensuring contractual documentation is accurate and reflects company and legislative requirements
•Managing employee relations issues – taking guidance on complex issues
•Participating in recruitment exercises as necessary
•Working closely with the Learning & Development Manager on relevant training related issues.
•Supporting the Human Resources Manager with the Annual Salary Review & Bonus Programmes
•Supporting the communication of the Company's Pension and Benefits Programmes
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Ideally 5 years HR Generalist experience
Studying for or qualified CIPD
Familiar with HR databases
Some exposure to benefits management
Well versed in related employment legislation
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills
Has some experience in working with multiple and overseas locations.
Previous experience in insurance or financial services preferred; multinational/regional experience highly desired
