Employee Benefits & Pensions Manager - Major London Law Firm - £50,000
This major London law firm are looking for a Benefits Manager to report into the Senior Manager. The role will involve:-
To pro-actively manage and develop the firm's UK employee benefits programme to ensure best practice, best value and best fit with overall reward strategy. To identify opportunities to extend and develop employee benefits across European offices.
Quickly establish strong relationships with external benefits providers and intermediaries
Quickly develop an understanding of the firm's reward and employee benefit provisions, processes and procedures
To become skilled in the use of the HR system and related systems and relevant report production
To take a strategic view of the firm's pension scheme arrangements and to work with trustees and management to identify, propose and implement change as appropriate
To manage the firm's insured benefits (UK and international private medical, long term disability, death in service & critical illness) for partners and employees.
To oversee and supervise the day to day administration of the remaining UK benefits package through the HR Central Administration Team
To build and manage effective relationships with existing and new external benefit providers to ensure cost effective and efficient provision of benefits.
To monitor legislation in relation to pensions and UK benefits and to ensure compliance
To set, manage and monitor all budgets associated with employee benefits programme across the firm
To review processes and procedures associated with role on an ongoing basis and to identify and implement enhancements/improvements where appropriate
To keep abreast of developments in the employee benefits field including participation in relevant surveys and suggestions for new initiatives linked to business strategy
To identify opportunities for improving/harmonising employee benefit provisions in European offices
To project manage or assist, as appropriate, in the implementation of any new employee benefits or related initiatives
To ensure HR intranet pages, terms and conditions and other internal documentation associated with employee benefits are up to date
To deal with enquiries from employees and partners in respect of their benefit packages
To develop strategies for promoting the employee benefits package including managing the production of accurate annual Total Compensation Statements for all UK employees
To oversee the firm's Occupational Health provision in conjunction with the Health & Safety Manager to ensure the most effective
