HR Director – Tesco International
(dunnhumby Ltd)

Circa £75,000 plus bonus, car allowance and flexible benefits package

West London base with some travel

Who did you say?

So what is it you do?

We do a complex task expertly, and we call it relevance marketing. Starting with analysis of consumer buying decisions and customer perceptions, we use the data we’ve gathered to drive brand value and strengthen our clients’ competitive advantage in the global marketplace. And then, using a combination of IT, data analysis, creative skills and business expertise, we give consumers the best reasons to stay exactly where they are.

We’re based in the UK but we’ve also got people in continental Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas, and even though our global turnover is in excess of $300m, we don’t intend to rest on our laurels. With you onboard, we can build on our impressive results to achieve even more.

And me?

Leading the people strategy for the Tesco International business in 9 countries: Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Hungary, China, Turkey, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland, you will drive business results through effective team and individual performance.

You will be responsible for 50 employees and you will be the key point of contact for a full range of HR services including recruitment, talent management, employee engagement and relations, compensation and benefits, performance management and learning and development.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will have:

•Extensive HR experience, ideally gained in a blue-chip environment such as consultancy and professional services
•Strategic HR experience with a proven ability in operational HR management and delivery
•A generalist HR career-path with particular emphasis on leadership, management development and behavioural change management.
•Knowledge and experience of modern and sophisticated HR infrastructures
•Exposure to consumer/marketing/customer-orientated branded service or product such as FMCG

You will be results driven, tenacious and calm in challenging situations and be able to establish credibility and maintain effective working relationships. You will also be willing and able to travel to different regions as and when necessary.
