Reporting to the Group HR Director this is a position created after a recent restructure in the HR team with key responsibility for leading the Reward function for this large well known international business. With one direct report, you will be the champion and face of Reward expertise in the organisation. This is a varied role for a Reward professional who is looking for a change and the opportunity to shape management thinking and influence the business. Key accountabilities will include;
?X Providing strategic direction for reward.
?X Harmonising reward and benefit processes strategy following M&A activity.
?X Working with the Board and other senior stakeholders to develop and set reward strategy on an international basis.
?X Ensuring that reward directly supports business delivery.
?X Taking a lead in negotiations with unions.
?X Ensuring the reward strategy is aligned to other HR strategies and the overall HR strategy and manage large and complex reward based projects.
The Reward Manager will have a degree or CIPD qualification with extensive experience as a highly effective Head of Reward in a large, complex but most importantly unionised organisation. You should have a full understanding of all technical Reward issues including design of pay solutions, job benchmarking but will also have an appreciation of harmonising Reward processes after M&A. You should be a confident communicator and have the ability to win people over with your influencing style.
Our client is a leading Leisure organisation in the UK and internationally based on the South Coast.
£50,000 to £60,000 plus benefits.
