European Compensation & Benefits Manager
Salary £65,000 to £75,000 + Bonus up to 15%+ Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits
Our client is a Global market leader in the Life Sciences sector. Internationally recognised for their innovation and excellence and setting standards in their industry; they provide cutting edge support services and solutions to major blue chip customers. As they continue their exceptional growth in Europe and Asia there is now a senior Reward opportunity to shape the future of this rapidly growing player with a world wide success story.
This is a rare opportunity for an outstanding professional with strong commercial and business acumen to work with the Global VP Compensation & Benefits based in the USA to genuinely shape the future by designing, building and implementing a Reward strategy that enables their growth and ensures the effective contribution, development and motivation of the business's principal asset - its people. The role will take the lead for all Compensation and Benefits projects for Europe (Inc Eastern Europe and Russia) and Asia Pacific (Inc Australia), so all operations globally outside of the Americas.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record within a specialist Reward / Compensation & Benefits role, which has had multi country exposure, but would consider someone with UK, Germany and France experience. You will be comfortable working in a complex matrix business running US lead global projects, as well as country / European (ROW) lead. This is not a pure strategic role; it requires a high operational "doer", who can manage a small specialist team. Would ideally suit someone who has operated at management level and would like to move into their first Head of Europe position.
A superb communicator able to share best practice, act as consultant to key executives and the credibility to implement innovative strategies along with influencing and negotiating skills to make a real difference. You must be business savvy, have the energy and drive to move forward a full agenda and be confident to control the US function - this is an excellent opportunity to share in the success of a business that values performance and rewards success.
