Job Description
My client is a leading private sector organisation in their field, and is an increasingly diverse business, employing over 3000 employees across 2 sites. To achieve competitive advantage in an increasingly aggressive market demands a positive and innovative approach to all aspects of their people policies.
The role will need you to recommend changes and developments to the reward and recognition strategy and to key reward benefit structures after consultation with executive management. You will be able to advise all levels of the business on all Compensation & Benefits areas, with authority to agree salary and benefit packages. Being able to act as an expert within your field, and will be directly responsible for all day to day issues and the operational performance of the Reward & Recognition team. A key responsibility will be to hold the budget for headcount costs, discretionary project spends, reward costs and pension administration. Would have three direct reports.
The ideal candidate would be of graduate calibre and have experience of formulation and implementation of company wide HR initiatives, policies & practices. You will have personnel experience preferably including direct involvement with pay review, payroll management and salary advice. Have proven project management involving multifunctional impact, and have an extensive knowledge of external reward and benefit practices and approaches. CIPD qualification would be an advantage, with a commercial focus.
You will need to have an innovative and imaginative approach on both strategic and problem solving levels. Be a pragmatic decision-maker with a strong analytical and numerate approach. You must possess a resilient and calm approach at all times. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are imperative.
Salary £40,000 - £50,000
