My client based in Reading is looking to recruit an HR Consultant on a 12 month fixed term contract to start before the end of August. This position will provide pro-active HR support to the business with approximately 1500 employees, provide advice to employees and line managers on a wide range of issues including disciplinaries and grievances and some ad hoc projects including TUPE transfers, restructuring, policy development and intranet development.
In addition you will also get involved in recruitment, inductions, talent management, succession planning and reward strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a change environment, preferably with some TUPE experience and is flexible in approach but focused on delivery. Good organisational and time management skills are a must, with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload in order to meet unexpected or short deadlines, with minimal supervision. Given the timescales involved with this position, immediate availability is key.
