Job Description

Our client, a well known UK wide business and consumer brand is in the process of a major corporate reorganisation. They are seeking an experienced HR Manager / HR Business Partner / HR Consultant to head up a project team managing the resultant redeployment and potential redundancies as their operating division is relocated from West London to Berkshire. You will be leading a team managing the whole of the redeployment process in which your principal accountabilities will be : Support the Head of HR by leading and reporting on the relocation project Oversee and assign responsibilities to the interim HR Consultants Co-ordinate and conduct the consultation process whilst ensuring all consultation is carried out in line with legislation and best practice Manage the employee representation process ensuring that each area of the division is represented Work with HR Consultant to ensure all job descriptions are Hay evaluated Work with the L&D Consultant to ensure all training programmes are arranged for new recruits Prepare all communications to include business announcements, line manager briefings, letters, FAQ, staff information pack, presentation for team forum Maintain and update information and announcements on the intranet Maintain the vacancy list and ensure this is circulated to all relevant individuals Co-ordinate all early retirement requests with the Director of Pensions To succeed in this role you should have gained prior experience in the management of corporate redundancy, relocation or restructuring projects and be familiar with all aspects of the consultation and redundancy process. The project is expected to last approximately 6 months and will start by the end of October.
