My client is looking to recruit a Management Development Advisor to own the design, development and delivery of the Management Development Programme in line with the business drivers and Learning and Development strategy. In addition they will be supporting the implementation of the Learning and Development strategy and associated training programmes across the business and providing advice and guidance to managers to ensure the correct training and development activities are identified, developed and evaluated for individuals, primarily focusing on the line management population.
Key accountabilities include:
•Own the design, development, delivery and co-ordination of the Management Development Programme in line with business drivers and Learning and Development Strategy to include pre and post event activity
•Support the Learning & Development Manager in developing and implementing the Learning and Development Strategy and associated training programmes
•Advise and provide practical support with the identification and implementation of appropriate training and development activities for the line management population.
•To design and deliver People Management development training relating HR Policies and practices.
•Source external training provision, set up training events/learning and development activities, briefing trainers as necessary.
•Liaise with providers to ensure that identified needs are met and that delivery is high quality and continually reviewed to ensure continuous improvement.
•Monitor, evaluate and report on the success of learning interventions
•Support the Investors In People initiative including review and formal assessment and re-assessment as appropriate to ensure recognition is achieved and maintained.
•Support as required the talent management and succession planning process.
The ideal candidate profile will include:
-Previous experience within the Management Development field
-Strong working knowledge of the analysis, design, delivery and evaluation of training.
-Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
-Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and develop and maintain effective working relationships effectively at all levels.
-Can work independently and use own initiative.
-Previous experience of non-traditional classroom training techniques
-Previous experience of training staff located remotely from the office
-Ideally experience of Investors in People accreditation.
