Job Description
Reporting in to the HR Manager you will be responsible for co-ordinating and influencing employee relations activity by participating in, developing and leading such activities in order to help increase performance, productivity and commitment.
Your key responsibilities will be to:-
Operate as a central reference point for information on site, for line managers, giving advice and direction concerning all employee relations issues.
Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed as well as complying with legislation and best practice.
Monitor absence and work with line managers to bring in line with industry average.
Provide support to managers for all recruitment.
Review HR policies and procedures.
Participate in special ad-hoc projects.
You should be of graduate calibre with an HR Generalist skill set gained in a fast moving environment. A solid understanding of employment law and HR best practice is essential. Ideally you will have experience of working in an operations or warehouse environment. Experience of working with Trade Unions is preferred.
