Key responsibilities will include: Support the Regional Directors and General Managers in developing effective branch teams Work with RD to identify under-performing GMs Recognising and develop high performing talent and coordinating clear succession plans Coach and support GMs in recruitment and retention practices. Support the Regional Directors with management recruitment Support RD and Branch Teams in the implementation of Branch structure/Extra's/Efficiency branches Co-ordinate and manage HR projects; benchmarking where appropriate Utilise MIS and reports in conjunction with RD to achieve best practice Support branch plans to improve customer satisfaction Understand the industry sector and the needs of the internal/external customer and align HR activity accordingly This is an excellent opportunity for a HR professional with regional and/or multi-site experience in a distribution or retail environment who can attack the difficult issues and empower the managers, getting some difficult characters on board along the way. You should have a good commercial acumen and be able to trouble-shoot using a proactive approach to improve business performance.
