My client are a growing organisation with more than 200 sites throughout the UK. Due to steady growth and subsequent restructure, they are now looking to recruit a Regional HR Advisor to cover the North of England and Scotland. Reporting into the Business Partner for the Region, your duties will include;
- Coaching and guiding area managers through complex ER issues, referring to the HR Manager where appropriate
- Working closely with site managers to raise the profile of and stress the importance of effective recruitment and induction processes, and to challenge and provide innovative solutions at site level
- Working closely with management to identify development needs for site employees and coach managers to identify appropriate solutions including delivery of training.
- Ensuring that you are up to date with existing and new legislation to ensure that potential risks are identified and that managers are effectively supported
- Carrying out regular site visits to raise the awareness of HR and to assist in the recognition of business opportunities
- Supporting the Senior HR team with the implementation and ongoing development of HR projects
For this role it is essential that you have previous experience within a generalist role and are passionate about a career in HR.
You must be a commercial and proactive individual with an innovative approach and a forward thinking attitude. You must have studied or be studying towards the CIPD or at least be educated to degree level.
This role will cover the North of England and Scotland and you will be home based, with travel throughout the region - a car is included in the package. Previous multi site experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
