My client are a leading telecommunications provider with numerous sites throughout the UK. A position has arisen based at their Preston contact centre for a Training Consultant to join the busy and fast-paced team there. Duties will include but not be exclusive to;
- Design and deliver bespoke learning and development solutions to customer advisors and sales consultants within the contact centre
- To take ownership of the new employee induction process
- Ensure that training is delivered in line with other sites across the UK
- Design and conduct training that meets and reflects changing business needs
- Evaluate training delivery, assessing measurable benefits in line with pre-identified learning objectives
- To ensure that comprehensive records are kept in line with FSA standards and compliance requirements
- To provide support at other sites if and when appropriate
This role is challenging and rewarding and in order to be the successful candidate you must be able to demonstrate the below;
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in design and delivery of training course to groups of different sizes, including on a one to one basis
- Ability to adapt to change
- Specialist knowledge of either customer service or sales
- Understanding of the psychology of learning
