Job Description
There is a need within an NHS institution for an ESR Specialist for a period of six months. The role itself will include such duties as:
- Minimise escalations and provide workarounds to issues.
- Respond and resolve colleague issues within Key Performance Indicator targets
- Advise and direct colleagues on the use of the ESR solution and its functionality
- Act as the advocate for the Customer Support System tool ensuring good timely data quality at all times
- Be able to advise and train other NHS staff in the proper usage of the ESR system.
Experience should include:
Current experience of Oracle HRMS, with the ability to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of the applications as well as a strong understanding of the business issues that they address. This experience will have been gained over circa 2 or more years.
· Knowledge of the Oracle HRMS Suite (especially Payroll - UK Legislation), Core HR and Self Service HR
· Functional knowledge of HR and Payroll processing
Desirable experience includes-
· Good communication skills, both verbal and written
· Problem solving, Investigative and analytical skills
· Extensive use of a computerised Pay/HR or HR system
· Experience of call administration using a call logging / tracking system
· Good working knowledge of NHS HR language
