Job Description
One of the UKs leading professional services organisations now has a requirement for additional HR support and seeks a strong HR generalist to operate in an Assistant HR Advisor capacity within the busy HR team in Leeds. You will look after the following:
• Assisting in the full recruitment process for graduates including running assessment centres, conducting aptitude testing and delivering induction
• Attend graduate career fairs on behalf of the business to attract new talent
• Manage monitoring of probationary periods for new employees
• Conduct exit interviews
• Administration of compensation and benefits systems
• Co-ordinate appraisal feedback
• Providing a first class HR advisory service to colleagues including senior staff members on a variety of topics such as maternity/paternity, absence and performance management
• Working with colleagues on disciplinary and grievance cases
• Keeping abreast of employment law and wider legislation that impact on HR policies and procedures
• Promoting the value of HR across the business
NB- This role will involve regular travel around the West Yorkshire ar
You will be professional and confident with the ability to communicate and interact well with colleagues including senior managers. You will be self motivated with a thirst for HR and desire to develop your skills in a successful organisation. You will ideally be CIPD qualified or working towards and have a good generalist knowledge.
