Job Description
There is now a requirement for an excellent HR generalist to work closely with the HR Manager to continue to progress the value and success of the HR department within this leading professional services organisation in North Yorkshire. You will take responsibility for the following:
Assisting in the recruitment cycle from preparing and placing adverts to helping interview colleagues including senior staff and fee earners and liaising with agencies
Conducting Disciplinary and Grievance cases with the HR Manager to resolve in the best manner for the business while following company policies and wider legislation
Looking at performance management procedures and advising managers on the best course of action for individual incidents
Advising colleagues on HR policy including sickness and maternity/paternity
Delivering induction training for new starters to the business
Assisting in reviewing salary grading and pension schemes
NB- This role will require the HR Advisor to travel to alternative sites once+ per week. Travel for this will be provided.
The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified (minimum CPP) and comfortable in working in a busy and challenging environment. You will be confident at communicating at all levels and be a self motivated team player. You will ideally have PROFESSIONAL SERVICES knowledge already
