Job Description
One of the UKs leading professional services organisations now requires additional HR support and seeks a strong HR generalist to operate as HR Advisor in this busy and expanding team in Leeds. You will take responsibility for the following:
•Being involved in the full recruitment process from writing and placing adverts to sifting CVs, co-ordinating and conducting interviews, and liaising with agencies and candidates
• Providing a first class HR advisory service to colleagues including senior staff members on a variety of topics such as maternity/paternity, absence and performance management
•Supporting colleagues on disciplinary and grievances and taking an active part in cases
• Keeping abreast of employment law and wider legislation that impact on HR policies and procedures
• Promoting the value of HR across the business
You will be professional and confident with the ability to communicate and interact well with colleagues including senior managers. You will be self motivated with a thirst for HR and desire to develop your skills in a successful organisation. You will ideally be CIPD qualified or working towards and have a good generalist knowledge.
