Job Description
This role is a new opportunity and has been created to support the expanding European operation. Based out of the Manchester office the HR associate will work closely with the Head of HR supporting a number of sites throughout Europe. Some of the offices havehuman resourcesin place others require the development of policies and procedures. The key challenges moving forward will be:
Establishing a consistent HR function across Europe, aligning policies and building up competencies.
Creating a new appraisal system
Developing common policies and procedures as well as effective L&D programmes
Coordinate European projects in line with European HR strategy
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
An understanding of a Generalist HR role - ideally with experience of leading/coordinating projects
The ability to self start and work autonomously of direct line manager
The ability to build relationships and effective working partnerships
Experience of developing policies and procedures and competency analysis
The ability to multitask and prioritise workloads to achieve deadlines
The ability to speak a European language - ideally German
