Job Description
To provide proactive, professional and effective client facing Human Resources support to the Capability Programmes business. Managing the performance of the organisation through people management processes.
Provide professional HR support on a range of issues including Employee Relations, Remuneration and Benefits.
Project manage a number of key projects/activities or working groups as required.
Contribute to the definition and delivery of the HR business plan/strategy through an understanding of the business area to which support is provided
Coach line managers to ensure their capability to deliver their people management responsibilities and to bring policies and procedures to life
The successful candidate will:
Have knowledge of an engineering/manufacturing environment
Take the lead on local ER management - performance management, disciplinary and grievance, trade union negotiation.
Develop and integrate L&D strategies for the business
Have strong organisational and communication skills, ideally demonstrated within a large organisation
Have completed their CIPD
