Job Description
Due to a continuous growth of their Gloucestershire site our client are looking to identify a Employee Relations Advisor who can manage all 1st level ER issues across their manufacturing site.
As an experienced HR professional you will ideally have had exposure to working within a manufacturing / engineering business either as an employee relations specialist or in a Generalist role.
Reporting into the HR Manager this role will be extremely visible across the business and you will managing issues in the following areas:
Disciplinary and Grievance
Absence Management
Performance Management
Policy review and development around areas such as - poor performance, harassment and bullying, equal opportunities and diversity
This role will also play a key part in Union negotiations.
Experience of working within a Manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of Unions would be beneficial but is not essential
Tenacity and a can do attitude
A strong track record in delivering a hands on effective HR service to a demanding population
A passion for Employee relations
