A fabulous opportunity to join the new HR team within a Global Media organisation. The role will suit a self-driven, self-motivated, accomplished HR professional preferably with some international exposure. Excellent communication and facilitation skills will be utilised to build the capability of line management to manage their teams in all aspects of HR and ensure continuous performance and management development.
Responsibilities of this Human Resources Manager role will include:
•Provide expert counsel, and accurate and timely information to employees and management on HR initiatives, practices and strategies.
•Line manager to 2 Senior HR Advisors
•Coach and train managers in key HR skills and processes including, recruitment and selection, coaching, performance management, remuneration and benefits administration, ensuring that they achieve competence in core people management skills.
•Advise managers on employee-related issues, ensuring fair and equitable treatment of employees and minimizing company liability.
•Source and interview candidates for job vacancies, assisting managers throughout the process. Manage new hire inductions
•Coordinate annual performance assessments and employee development for the sector
•Identify development needs in conjunction with line managers, source solutions, and organize training by external consultants where appropriate.
•Contribute to the HR department's ongoing and special projects. Both Globally and within the UK.
•Assist in the development, implementation and communication as well as maintenance of human resources policies and procedures.
•Provide high level of support; develop business partnerships and excellent internal and external customer relationships.
•Maintain company standards with respect to the company's vision for outstanding customer service.
•Develop and maintain comprehensive understanding of the business, its culture and environment
• Keep abreast of current HR practices and changes in legislation.
