The Background
Market leading organisation with a first class reputation within their particular are of the market, is seeking to recruit a HR Systems Advisor to offer support and guidance to a large end user community. This role will pay emphasis to day-to-day support issues and exciting change and transformation projects.
The Role
Reporting directly to the HR Systems Manager, the successful candidate will assist in the development of the organisations HR System Support Centre. The candidate will also be responsible for:
Interpreting business requirements and turning these into functional specifications in order to make changes to the system
Preparing and using user acceptance test plans and scripts to administer user acceptance and usability testing for new or existing systems
Write and compile and research submissions associated with HR systems developments
To administer the security system on Peoplesoft to manage employee access to both HR administration and Employee and Manager Self-Service
Evaluating the outcome of system changes to ensure (i) technical specifications meet documented functional business requirements (ii) associated HR intranet sites and their contents are updated to reflect changes (iii) change management and communication procedures are completed (iv) unit testing, user acceptance testing and usability testing are undertaken before signing off changes and putting live
The Person
The successful candidate will be an experienced HR Systems support professional, ideally with experience gained on one of the major ERP systems (PeopleSoft, Oracle or SAP). You will have excellent customer service skills gained within a functional, end user facing role. You will be analytically minded with a passion in HRIS related problem solving.
