My client is an NHS Foundation Trust undergoing a significant change agenda. As part of this agenda, HR is undergoing a transformation to create a best in class function aligned to the needs of the Trust, and able to support the business as it evolves.
Reporting to the Director of HR & Corporate Affairs, this role will be responsible for delivering a recruitment strategy which ensures that the organisation has a capable workforce, identifying the gaps in the business that cannot be filled by developing internal talent, and then recruiting externally to enhance the current talent pool.
You will be responsible for developing policies and implementing a best in class recruitment service to the organisation, creating solutions to complex hiring needs and managing major campaigns. You will develop a variety of assessment processes to select the right talent, and work with colleagues in Learning & Development to build management capability and knowledge of recruitment practices. You will also work with external agencies to enhance the organisation's brand as an employer, leading to recognition from Investors in people, the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to Work for, Race for Opportunity and the Stonewall Award.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a strong leader, manager and coach who is commercially astute with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. You will play a pivotal role in change within the organisation, so experience of having design, influenced and affected change in a complex environment will be critical. Additionally, you will be culturally and politically savvy and be able to analyse and present data effectively to back up your decisions.
Ideally, you will be a graduate, and must be CIPD qualified. Additionally, you should have BPS level A&B qualifications and be Assessment Centre trained. You will have at least 5 years senior HR experience and have extensive knowledge of how to identify and attract high quality candidates from diverse cultures and backgrounds. In depth experience of leading challenging recruitment and workforce programmes within a multi-site complex organisation will also be required.
