Director of Corporate Services
Working for a leading childrens charity based in the East London area this is a varied and all encompassing role with a great level of responsibility.
We are looking for a highly proactive individual who along with other members of the Directors Management team will help to guide the strategic HR direction of the organisation and the overall leadership in the development and implementation of Human Resource and ICT strategies. The successful candidate will be accountable for developing external links with others in the charity sector in order to learn, benchmark and contribute to best HR practices for the organisation. They will also be accountable for leading on all HR learning and development aspects of major change projects, advising senior management on effective HR change practices / processes to ensure they are implemented successfully. It is important they provide clear and professional leadership to the Corporate Services staff to ensure the HR department contributes to the achievement of the organisation's objectives whilst ensuring the provision of accurate information to support management decision making. Ideally they will have a professional CIPD qualification, excellent knowledge of change management and processes. It is important they possess a good understanding of UK employment law and the issues facing HR in the NGO and INGO sector.
