My client, the biggest brand in their sector is looking for a Head of HR to work at their European Headquarters in Surrey. Reporting to the European HR Director and with board level involvement you will be responsible for establishing and delivering the HR Department's objectives to support the delivery of HR strategy and the operational running of the production site. Working with a support team of 6 HR professionals you will be responsible for turning all business decisions in to HR process whilst being able to communicate and influence change throughout all levels of the business.
Of degree calibre and CIPD qualified you will have a proven HR career to date with a solid understanding of HR policies and methodologies coupled with a knowledge of UK (and ideally European) employment law. With experience in a unionised environment you will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. Used to working in a corporate head office environment you will be able to readily flex your style to engage and inspire your audience being an effective relationship builder across all levels. With the ability to manage and coach a team you will be a key player in motivating those around you whilst also having the ability to persuade and negotiate at a senior level. Of up most importance in this role is the ability to think strategically both at a corporate and production level.
