To ensure the provision of an effective and cost efficient HR service, in accordance with the policies and practices agreed with the partnership. Ensuring the promotion of best practice, compliance with legal responsibilities and achievement of required standards across thethree offices. The Head of HR will be required to participate in Strategic Planning and Development issues, giving particular emphasis to Human Resources issues such including training & development, manpower resourcing and planning, internal communications and improved employee relations.
Previous experience at a senior level in a law firm dealing with partners at all levels and all HR areas of work including employee relations, resourcing and development. Good people management skills as required to manage the team. Must be a good team player and communicator with partners and the management team, plus able to delegate appropriately to the HR team, manage their own time and self-motivate. Degree level with IPD qualification.
