Job Description
Reporting in to the Managing Director you will provide strong leadership to the HR team along with coaching to develop the HR Managers and build their capability.
Your key responsibilities will include:-
Work with senior executives to develop, implement and invest in a focused strategy for management development and training to achieve the maximum return, increase retention, and to ensure that succession plans are met.
Advise the Managing Director and Executive Team on organisational structure/change to ensure that the correct people are in place to support the business strategy and its operational needs.
Contribute to the overall direction and management of the business as well as leading on all people matters.
Managing the selection process for all senior appointments, both internal and external, based on systematic assessment of distinguishing success factors and experiences.
You should be of graduate calibre with a proven track record of achievement in leading an HR function or team which forms a pro-active and critical role in the business. You need to have experience of working in an operational environment ideally in retail, hospitality or leisure.
You will have experience of designing andimplementing structured management development and training schemes. Strong analytical skills need to be combined with an ability to understand business requirements and commercial strategy and how this relates to HR planning.
