Our client an international Logistics organisation is looking to recruit a pragmatic, commercially and strategically focused Head of HR. This role has a strong emphasis in the instant growth phase of running and maintaining the operational HR function in this part of the business. This is an expanding role with a Global organisation and ultimately our client is looking for a HR professional who has the ability to hit the ground running at Head of HR level and progress to HR Director within a six to twelve month frame. As HR Director the role will report to a Group HR Director for this particular Business Unit and the MD for this division.Working at Board level as HR Director this role will focus strategically looking at L & D, talent, succession planning, commercially aligning the people agenda to the business, organisational restructures,cultural change processes and integration.
Our client is ideally looking for a senior HR professional who is seeking a new challenge or the next step in their career. Preferably of Graduate Calibre and CIPD qualified this would suit a candidate at Head of HR level or Senior HR Business Partner level. Alternatively a HR Director who is looking to work in a Global Matrix organisation who has the ability to take on the Head of HR role for six months and than move into the HR Director role. The ideal sector exposure from the Distribution, Logistics, Construction, Business Services, Manufacturing or Retail background.
