Due to an expansion in its' HR service, our client is seeking to recruit a strong HR generalist with a desire to specialise in the area of Equality and Diversity.
As well as holding experience of Equality and Diversity initiatives, especially in the areas of gender, disability and race, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing HR policies and procedures. The role would be well suited to those with experience of working in a unionised environment but also key to the role will be the cultural fit of the successful applicant.
Whilst being an excellent communicator, the preferred candidate will also have the confidence to liaise with and advise senior management as well as driving initiatives that will see an increase in the recruitment of under-represented groups. Indeed the role will require close collaboration with not only the entire HR team, but also management as a whole to ensure that results are met.
Graduate membership of the CIPD would be advantageous but equal if not greater weight will be given to solid experience in an HR Generalist position.
