Job Description

My client, a Local Government Service, is looking to recruit an experienced Equality & Diversity Manager. This regional role is based in Durham and will involve working alongside the Equality & Diversity Team and Senior Management in implementing and maintaining the equality strategies and providing Generalist HR advice to a number of sites. You will design and deliver the E & D Practices through training and seminars to ensure all employees are fully briefed and compliant with the regulations, as well as providing advice and guidance to Managers on Policies & Procedures. To be successful in this role, you will be CIPD qualified with a strong HR background, particularly focussing on Equality & Diversity and Policies & Procedures. Salary circa £26,000 plus generous benefits.
