My client is looking to recruit an Interim Equality and Diversity Specialist to assist for an initial 6 month period. You will be responsible for the promotion, development, integration and monitoring of the Equality and Diversity agenda throughout the organisation. You will be providing day to day advice and guidance to employees and line managers to support the Level 3 equality standard. To assist HR on achieving a more accurate and recording system for workforce monitoring data. Key responsibilities will include: Supporting the action plan to meet organisational obligations and deadlines. Develop and provide Equality and Diversity advice and support on HR issues to ensure E&D is embedded in all practices. Assist with the preparation of reports for senior managers to report on progress and timeframes Advise and support the Staff Equality & Diversity Network to help them shape and deliver their action plans. Work collaboratively with and be supported by the wider HR&OD team and help their teams in shaping and delivering their equality and diversity targets. Ensure best practice is adopted across the business and raise issues as necessary at a strategic level to ensure Level 3 is achieved. Establish good working relationships to promote and enhance the profile of the team internally and externally.
