This is a fast paced, leading Technology business, and they are looking for a HR Business Partner for Technology who will provide HR leadership within the Operational units of the directorate and work on directorate wide projects as necessary. This role will work with the senior teams to develop and implement an appropriate people plan that brings to life the people promise and meets the needs of the business. They will
•Facilitate HR programmes and manage regular HR processes - salary reviews, people forums, performance management processes and development processes.
•Instigate the design and delivery of change programmes and HR interventions.
•Contribute to the work of the HR team - as a supportive team member, active contributor and positive influence.
•Participate in Technology projects that require a people lead, including offering relevant advice, devising a credible people plan and actively consulting with key stakeholders
Key Role Responsibilities:
•Develop and deliver strategic and tactical HR plans to support the delivery of the key programmes and critical challenges.
•Develop strong credible working relationships with the Operational Senior Team and their direct reports to understand their business issues and work pro-actively with them to provide appropriate solutions.
•Work strategically with the relevant Senior Management to deliver effective Performance Management application, development strategies and succession plans, coaching them where necessary.
•Ensure that the People Promise is brought to life within their areas and employee development initiatives are prioritised to support both employee and company success, whilst maintaining consistency with corporate strategy.
•Interpret and apply corporate HR policies, updating managers on changes to employment legislation as and when appropriate.
•Work with the wider HR team to share and build collective knowledge.
•Take an active lead when necessary on technology wide projects that require an HR lead
Essential
•CIPD qualification (or European equivalent) or currently studying towards completion.
•Previous experience of working within a Unionised environment is desirable.
•Creative problem-solver, able to think out of the box, with the ability and willingness to blend strategic thinking with hands on operational HR activity.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•Proven HR Project Management skills
•Strong relationship building skills, within the HR team and client group.
•Personal confidence, gravitas, willing to challenge.
•Proven track record of delivery.
•Excellent organisation skills, ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
•Ability to work autonomously and proactively in client groups, whilst not compromising on Company/corporate standards
•Good consultancy skills.
•Demonstrable influencing skills.
•Travel and overnight stays maybe required
