My client is looking to recruit an Employee Relations Advisor to provide professional support to the business focusing on the provision of legal employment advice, people management and employment relations. The main responsibilities of the role will include: Provision of specialist advice and guidance to Line Managers on employee relations matters, employment legislation, performance management, disciplinary and HR policies. Co-ordinate with Line Management should any appeals and grievances be raised to that level. Compose all correspondence in respect of investigations, disciplinary issues/hearings, including formal warnings and recommendation for dismissal letters. Work closely with the Company Solicitor and prepare for and attend Employment Tribunals and High Court claims. Chair disciplinary hearings and appeals hearings as required. Provide training and coaching to staff and Managers on aspects of Employment Law. Responsible for the planning and delivery of the Random Drugs Test (RDT) policy. Identify any areas within the team where improvements can be made to increase efficiency, maintain compliance with employment legislation, provide updates to key staff on HR policy changes and to ensure the smooth implementing of any improvements/changes.
