We are looking for an experienced HR manager to undertake a fixed term contract within the public sector. Main duties will involve:
* Providing a high quality, professional service co=ordinating departmental change management activities including reorganisations and workforce remodelling to ensure all activities are firmly aligned with the needs of the service.
* Advising managers as required on specific recruitment and retention initiatives to attract and retain skilled employees
* Establishing productive and proactive dialogue with employees and their representatives to develop services, facilitate change and promote a positive working environment
* Support the Strategic HR Manager to develop and implement recruitment and retention initiatives and delivery objectives
* Providing management information, data and statistics relating to relevant projects
* Work collaboratively on corporate human resources projects as required
The successful applicant must be CIPD qualified, or equivalent, and be able to demonstrate evidence of continual professional development as a HR Manager delivering human resources services in a service delivery environment. Knowledge and understanding of key human resources process such as payroll, pensions, human resources information systems and recruitment is required.
