Job Purpose
Working in collaboration with line managers across GB to support the delivery of a professional, efficient and flexible Employee Relations service.
Primary objectives:
To support the delivery of key Employee Relations activities and programmes based on employment legislation and company policy. (KPI: Monthly updated and accurate ER dashboard)
To provide a clear understanding and consistent application of HR policies, procedures and practices. (KPI: timely, consistent and quality service at all times)
To proactively coach and educate Line Managers in all aspects of Employee Relations (KPI: Delivery of planned Learning Activities)
Key Accountabilities
Manage assigned casework activity and supporting documentation, which may include:
performance management
disciplinary action
grievance procedure
business ethics
death in service
long and short term absence
appeal process
general investigation meetings
Provide coaching and advice to line managers in all aspects of Employee Relations including legal implications and associated risk.
To keep up to date with all HR policies and legislative changes including latest case law.
To deliver a planned learning programme for Line Managers in all aspects of Employee Relations to drive performance and capability across GB
Maintain and update all Employee Relations supporting documentation and collaterals.
Support the design and deployment of Employee Relations initiatives based on legislative changes and/or identified gaps in the business with action plans to close.
Support the provision of management information, analysis and metrics as required including maintaining a log of all casework activity.
Engage internal legal counsel as appropriate.
Provide support to the broader HR team as required which may include HR Operations activities and key programmes and processes as required.

Strong generalist HR knowledge and experience
Good communication skills

Strong influencing skills
Good coaching skills
Desirable:
CIPD qualified or working towards qualification
Team player with the ability to build effective working relationships
Ability to work on own initiative
Good knowledge of employment law
