DEPUTY HEAD OF HR, West Birmingham, 12 month fixed term contract, £30,000 to £35,000 p.a.
A large educational organisation in West Birmingham is currently recruiting for a Deputy Head of HR to manage the day to day operations of its HR team for a fixed period of 12months. As a organisation they have several sites, and although you will primarily be based at one you will be required to travel to each of the other sites. A key part of this role will be to head up a pay modernisation and job evaluation project.
Key Responsibilities:
• To manage the hr team and look after the day to day function of the department.
• To conduct a pay modernisation and job evaluation project.
• To build strong employee relationships including professional relationships with trade unions.
• To assist with training, development and coaching line managers.
• To assist in the up dating of hr policies and procedures.
It is essential that you have experience of managing a hr team, have conducted pay modernisation and job evaluation projects. This role will suit a hr manager that is confident in their own ability and very adaptable. You must be CIPD qualified.
